Every scholar-athlete new to track and field or familiar with the sport will complete a movement assessment for proper programming.
Our experienced sport performance staff individualize performance markers and outcomes to the scholar-athletes based on current performance and ultimate goals discussed with scholar-athletes, guardian and staff member.
In addition to strength and conditioning, during week day practices, we complete drills and technique work in a controlled environment.

Scholar-athletes maintain their position in The Academy must:
- Hold an active membership ($40/month or $480/annually)
- Complete at least 75% of individualized academic success objectives
- Attend 75% of training/competition sessions offered
- Complete at least 50% of leadership development initiatives offered
During the high school track and field season, ATA scholars are required to complete "in-season maintenance". In-season maintenance are one hour, once a month check-ins, to maintain the mechanics, mobility and power of scholar-athletes to efficiency and minimize injury transitioning to the club season.
Athletic Development: Club Track and Field, Strength and Conditioning
Club Track and Field - ATA teams will compete against other club programs at organized and sanctioned track meets. Practices to be held throughout the year.
Strength and Conditioning - S&C professionals will be available to each team in the ATA program. Appropriate supervised programming will be implemented to optimize track and field performance.
Leadership Development: Leadership Curriculums and Mentorship
Leadership Curriculums - Engaging in leadership seminars and activities. Curriculum revolves around topics such as; boosting social awareness and self-advocacy. Community service requirements will be in place.
Mentorship - Mentors and mentee will be assigned to participating members.
Academic Success: Sustained Support of Scholar-Athletes' Academic Efforts
College Exposure - ATA scholar-athletes will receive support in areas including; email writing, interviewing, understanding scholarships, financial literacy, budgeting and NCAA Clearinghouse. At least one yearly visit to a college/university within 200 miles
